Frequently asked questions
Which video formats work on the web?
On the web, the browser must actually decode the input; a filename extension is not enough. MOV is not universally promised as either input or output. Output is re-rendered locally and is MP4 or WebM only when the browser runtime supports it. iOS can offer additional native formats.
Which exact limits apply?
Input: at most 512 MiB and 600 s, 4096 px per edge / 8,847,360 pixels; output: 1920 px per edge / 2,073,600 pixels, 36,000 frames and 256 MiB. Undecodable or oversized sources are rejected locally.
Is a video uploaded?
No. Decoding and re-rendering stay on your device.
