Which files can I compare?
TXT, DOCX and PDF files. TXT is read as UTF-8 or UTF-16; the two files may use different supported formats.
Are layout and formatting compared?
No. Only extracted text is compared. Layout, fonts, images, comments and formatting are ignored.
Are the files uploaded or given a fixed limit?
No. Text extraction and comparison run entirely in your browser. The limit is 100 MB per file and 200 MB combined; overly complex or long comparisons are stopped safely.
